T. O. Lockwood Electrical Services offer a comprehensive service of all types of electrical installations.
Domestic and Commercial Installations
We are happy to work in houses, flats, mobile homes, shops or offices.

New Installations, extensions and alterations.
We will provide electrical installations in new properties or extensions. If you are having some alterations, (eg. removing walls) we can make safe any electrics before the work is done, and can even provide temporary electrical sockets during the work.
Rewires
​
Many older properties were wired using rubber or lead cables. These over time become brittle and damaged, leading to electrical shorts and faults, and cause fires. A rewire will completely replace these with new PVC cables, new sockets, light fittings, and a new consumer unit. Worried about damage to walls or the decoration during the rewire? If possible we will always try to keep any damage and disturbance down to a minimum.
Consumer Units
​
Replace your old fuse box with a modern Consumer Unit. Fuses are replaced with Miniature Circuit Breakers (MCB's) for better circuit protection and ease of use, simply reset the MCB instead of all that hassle with fuse wire. Residual Current Devices (RCD's) are also included to provide highly sensitive earth leakage protection (30 mA). This device will disconnect a circuit within 40 milliseconds (that's pretty quick) before any fault current can upset your heart beat. Our price for replacement won't upset it to much either!.
Installation of Extra Sockets and/or Lights

We use alot of electrical appliances and gadgets today. Some places, especially older houses, do not have enough sockets for the average family home today. Extra sockets can come in handy, especially near the TV, HiFi, PC, broadband router, or in the kitchen or bedroom. Sockets can easily be installed and are much safer than trailing extension leads.
Outside or Garage Installations

Sockets or lights in the garage or shed. Or a special water-proof socket can be installed for outdoor use of the lawn-mower, water feature or garden lights.

Showers
​
Need a shower installed? We can provide you with a high quality shower, install it with the right cables and even do the plumbing.
Storage Heaters
​
With the price of fuel rising, we are all looking for cheaper heating. By storing the heat at night during off-peak times, storage heaters provide cheap and efficient heating for any room. Heaters available in small, medium and large sizes.
Cooker Points

For built-in hobs and ovens or freestanding appliances.
Earthing and Bonding
​
To minimize the risk of electrical shock your gas, water and oil pipes should be properly bonded to earth.
Fire Alarms
